Since this is the first house that I bought with my own hard-earned money, I wanted to buy exquisite and unique furniture pieces for it. I went to various furniture shops in malls but I could not find one that I liked. I want to get the ones that I saw from a home magazine. As I was running out of options, I thought I needed to get some help from an expert.
Luckily, I have a friend who is an interior designer. She helped me find a home furniture shop that would probably have the pieces that I am looking for. When I checked out her suggestions, I found an online furniture shop who has them but in a different colour. I was about to leave their website and check out another shop, Good thing, I didn’t and browsed for more items. I later found out that the shop is offering furniture customisation services. I got excited because there is a high chance that it is possible to get their dressing table and side table in the colour that I want.
It was great that it wasn’t too difficult to reach out to them. I immediately got to schedule an appointment with one of their staff to discuss about the custom furniture pieces that I was planning to order. Aside from their dressing table and side table, I requested for a sofa set that I discovered in a magazine.
During the Consultation
When the day of the scheduled consultation came, I was kind of nervous and anxious at first. I do not have much knowledge about furniture so I thought it was going to be hard to explain to them what I want exactly. Even though there is a reference photo that I can show to them, there are still changes that I want to make on it. Fortunately, the interior designer that came with them understood what I wanted. She even made suggestions that would make the design better. I was impressed how she can explain things in layman’s terms so it was easier to understand all the furniture and interior design jargon.
Dressing Table and Side Table
After a few weeks, I received the dressing table and the side table that I ordered. I requested for furniture pieces to be painted in a shade of mint green and I was glad to see that managed to get the colour right. I have to say their dressing table in Singapore looked even better in person than in the photos. It made the room look more chic and elegant. Whereas, their side table in Singapore perfectly matches my bed.
Custom Sofa Set
The custom sofa set that I ordered came after the two arrived. I felt so happy and satisfied on this one because it is absolutely gorgeous! They have made it exactly what I had in mind! It looked like it was carefully made because of all the exquisite details!
I will definitely order again the custom made furniture of Snow Globe in Singapore/ Thanks to them, I now have intricate furniture pieces in my home.
